HYREF GmbH develops and produces fuel cell systems using bio-/methanol as an energy source. The Fuel Cells are infrastructure-independent without requiring structural measures, they are  flexible in use and can be implemented ad hoc.

With operating times of over 10,000 hours and scalability from 2.5 -50kW, HYREF's methanol fuel cells can be used in many applications with an energy source that is readily available and can be used in almost all areas (e.g. in Class 1 environmental protection areas).
